Randilee Farnquist

Registered Massage Therapist 2200Hr

Randi is excited to be working with such a great health care team at Chaparral Physiotherapy & Massage. She has been working as a registered massage therapist since 2010 after studying the two year program of massage therapy at Lethbridge College and is certified with 2200 hours. She moved to Calgary from Lethbridge in 2012. Randi has worked alongside physiotherapists to better treat and offer more preventative care since she relocated to Calgary. She is also registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

Randi enjoys promoting a healthy lifestyle by biking, rollerblading and the many yoga classes she attends to keep herself in shape to give the best care to her clients.

Melissa Smith

Registered Massage Therapist 2200Hr

Melissa graduated in 2004 from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in Winnipeg, MB.  


Prior to moving to Calgary, Melissa worked in various sport injury clinics and with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet.  She also taught basic and advanced level Massage Therapy and was nominated to the Board of Directors of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM).  She is currently a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).  Melissa stays current in her skills, continuously learning and has an interest in treating those living with chronic pain conditions.  


Melissa enjoys the running trails with her dog, and is always looking forward to the ski season.

Olga Chernykh

Registered Massage Therapist 2200Hr

Olga is very happy to be part of the Chaparral Physiotherapy & Massage team. She is a former personal fitness  trainer and aerobics instructor.  Her 4 years B.Sc. of Physical Training from Russia is the perfect background to complement her 3000 hours diploma in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy from MaKami College in Calgary.

She has a true passion for therapeutic massage.  Olga is very skilled in recognizing painful spots and to treat her clients with great care. Pre/post-natal massage, deep tissue, cupping and myofascial release are among her favorite techniques. 

In her free time Olga likes painting, cooking, and enjoying outdoors activities.

Amy Jisun Sim

Registered Massage Therapist 2200Hr

Amy is graduate of the 2200 hours diploma program from the Turner Institute of Orthopaedic Massage and a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. She has experience in Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Sport, Orthopaedic and Reflexology and specializes in Deep Tissue massage, treating neck and shoulder pain and trigger point therapy.


She enjoys painting, reading, hiking and watching her two active boys play hockey.

January Learmond

Registered Massage Therapist 2200Hr

January is a graduate from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  She just moved to Calgary and is extremely excited to work with the team at Chaparral Physiotherapy!  January originally went to college for business administration and after 9 years in administrative roles in medical and business offices she decided to pursue her dream of working as a health care provider.

January completed 2500 hours of practical application of massage including; MET’s, bone mobilization, fascial integration, hydrotherapy, and exercise re-habilitation.  An osteopathic approach to looking at the whole body instead of chasing pain and symptoms helps her provide clients with an efficient and effective way of assessing and treating dysfunctions. It is January’s pleasure to work together with each client in order to achieve their highest standard of health and well being. 

In her free time she enjoys working on stained glass projects, hiking, mountain biking, reading/writing, doing yoga, photography, and keeping physically fit.
